Our outdoor mold prevention service involves the application of an industrial grade mold inhibitor that kills existing black and green mold and blocks regrowth for up to six months. Ideally we recommend pressure cleaning the area to be treated first to remove existing mold that may be visible on the surface. We can assist with cleaning of outdoor hard surfaces and furniture items in preparation for applying the mold inhibitor. In cases where the mold is heavily built up or completely covering the surface, the mold inhibitor works best on a clean surface where mold build up has been removed prior.
Once treated, mold inhibitor keeps working for about six months. If you repeat the treatment every six months – NO MORE MOLD! Its as simple as that. So now you can have mold free outdoor surfaces that retain a clean appearance and are void of unsightly or dangerous slippery surfaces. If you fail to repeat the treatment every six months, mold will eventually return. However, even then, our mold inhibitor can often be successfully applied to kill off the mold in the early stages and leave the surface clear of mould.

The mold inhibitor will not damage surfaces, change the colour of items, or leave a residue. Where there is any concern, the product is always tested first. It is not toxic and has a fast dry time that allows the customer to return to normal use in less than 1 hour.
For most effective application, the outdoor mold protection process should only be carried out on new or old surfaces that are reasonably clean. The surface being treated should also be dry and exposed to at least three consecutive days of dry weather prior to treatment. Once treated, mold will not appear for at least six months.
