Cleaning Micro Fiber Lounges
Cleaning micro fiber lounges and fabrics can be hard work, especially if the micro fiber upholstered furniture item has been neglected for some time, but we can clean it!
Build up of body grease and fiber wear are the most common issues that we experience. However, cleaning micro fiber lounges can also be significantly rewarding, and would you believe “white” gives the best results of any of the fabric colours because the cleaning process is simply that effective. Over time even the most resilient fabrics will give in to wear and tear or neglect, however there are varying types of micro fiber (MF) fabrics and it’s worthwhile knowing this when buying a lounge. Not all will last, but 99% will respond overwhelmingly to our cleaning process if the fabric is good quality. Skimping on price when buying a MF lounge could mean that once it becomes excessively soiled, it needs to be thrown out!. Learn more in our upholstery cleaning section.
Take a look at the lounge in the photos below.
Noosa Prestige Cleaning Services cleaned this lounge in 2014 after many years of neglect and family use, and you can see how badly stained it was. We took ‘before’ photos at the time, but when finished the work, which included carpets and some rugs, we forgot to take ‘after’ photos of the stunning transformation to the lounge.
You can imagine we were very pleased to receive a call from the customer in January 2017 to repeat our cleaning process on the white micro fiber lounges. We never posted the photo until now because this time we took the after photos, which reveal that the lounge is still in great condition and still responds excellently to the NPCS micro fiber cleaning process. We are proud to report the customer is also very pleased with the result and kindly allowed us to take photos of their furniture.
